What standard drug tests look for
Common panels test for THC, cocaine, amphetamines, PCP and opiates, plus things like benzodiazepines and barbiturates on expanded panels. Kanna's alkaloids aren't on those lists.
Can kanna cause a false positive?
We haven't seen good evidence that kanna triggers false positives on standard screens, but research is limited. If you get an unexpected result, ask for the lab confirmation test.
Check what's actually in your product
Some gummies and drinks blend kanna with other botanicals or ingredients, including hemp-derived products. Those other ingredients could show up. Read the label.
